AS A CHURCH:

We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit.  It is our desire to flow freely with the Holy Spirit in worship and service to The King.  With His help we learn God’s perfect, inspired Word,  to enable us to live our lives pleasing to Him, enriching and blessing each other as we build lasting relationships.

AS A PASTOR:

My foremost goal in life is to know Christ, His voice, His character, and His Heart’s desire.  That whatever the climate or the circumstance, I must consistently walk in the assurance He gives me that if I trust in the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul and lean not on my own understanding and acknowledge Him in all my ways that He shall direct my paths.

That as His child, my ministry overview, personally and corporately is as Isaiah 61:1-3.  Our ministry must be to reclaim the broken, battered, bruised and bored; restore them to wholeness in spirit; and to equip them (the believers) to reproduce themselves by reaching others.  We can teach what we know but must reproduce who we are by our walk and example.

As the coldest months of winter are coming into full swing, we are digging out our heavy coats with excitement.  Many us anticipate the thrill of cold weather, but some children are dreading it.

Here At First Assembly we feel it is our privilege  to meet the needs of those less fortunate when ever possibly.  This is something I think we can all contribute to. Bring your “in-good-condition“, “don’t-fit-any-more” or “I-don’t-need-it-I- got-a-new-one” coat to us by January 15th.  We will be having a free coats for kids weekend give away, Saturday, January 21st, 8:00 am-noon.
